AI Usage Policy

1. Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence

Ascente Software may use artificial intelligence and automated technologies to improve its website, software, customer support, reporting, analytics, and business operations. AI tools must be used responsibly, lawfully, ethically, and only for legitimate business purposes.

2. Human Review and Accuracy

AI-generated responses, recommendations, reports, or other content may contain errors or incomplete information. Appropriate human review and verification are required.

3. Data Privacy and Confidentiality

Users must not enter passwords, payment details, confidential business information, personal data, customer records, or other sensitive information into an AI feature unless the feature is specifically authorized and secured for that purpose. Personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection laws.

4. Prohibited Uses

Ascente AI features must not be used to:

  • Conduct unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or discriminatory activities;
  • Generate harmful, abusive, defamatory, or misleading content;
  • Violate intellectual-property, privacy, or confidentiality rights;
  • Attempt to access restricted systems or information;
  • Upload malicious code or disrupt our services; or
  • Make fully automated high-impact decisions without proper authorization and human oversight.

We may restrict or suspend access where AI features are misused.

5. Limitations and Contact Information

AI features are provided to assist users and are not guaranteed to be completely accurate, available, or suitable for every purpose. Ascente Software is not responsible for decisions made solely based on unverified AI-generated information.

We may update this AI Usage Policy as our technology, services, and legal obligations change.
